Q. How to file a complaint on the NCSC Grievance Management Portal?
A. To file a complaint, first register on the NCSC portal (https://ncsccmis.nic.in/) by clicking on the "Lodge Complaint" button. Click on the "Registration" link and enter the required details. After registration, you will be automatically redirected to the Login page. Log in using your registered email or mobile number and the password created during registration. After entering the OTP, click on "Make New Complaint". A new complaint form will appear—fill in the details of the victim and provide a description of the complaint.
Q. Can a registered user file more than one complaint using the same login ID and password on the e-GMP portal?
A. Yes, registered users can file multiple complaints using the same login credentials.
Q. Can I file a complaint for myself or for someone else?
A. Yes, a complaint can be filed either for yourself or for another person belonging to the Scheduled Castes. On the "Make New Complaint" page, choose the appropriate option under "Filing the Complaint for: Self / Others."
Q. What does "Any Previous File No." mean?
A. It refers to the file number of a complaint that is already under consideration by the Commission.

A. On the "Make New Complaint" page, select "Atrocity" as the nature of the grievance.

A. No, uploading the complaint application is not mandatory. The complaint can be submitted by simply entering the relevant details.
Q. What is the "Upload Audio File" option?
A. This option allows users to upload a recorded audio version of their complaint.
Q. What is the "Upload Video File" option?
A. This option allows users to upload a recorded video version of their complaint.
Q. Is a caste certificate mandatory for filing a complaint?
A. No, a caste certificate is not mandatory. Complaints can be submitted without uploading the caste certificate.
Q. Will I receive a confirmation or acknowledgment once my complaint is submitted?
A. Yes, upon successful submission, the user will receive an email and SMS confirmation on their registered contact details.
